Padmavati Temple:
Padmavathi temple is dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi or Alamelumanga, the consort of Lord Venkateshwara. This temple is located at Tiruchanur and it’s nearly 5 kilometers distance from Thirumala Tirupati at Chittoor districts.
This pilgrim center is popularly known as Alarmelmangapuram (Alar-Lotus, Mel-top, Manga-Goddess, Puram-town). And according to this temple, Goddess Mahalakshmi emerged on the lotus as Padmavathi Devi located at the center of the Padmasarovaram, this place became famous by its name Alarmelmangapuram.
